Refund Policy

Thank you for booking with Ceylon Discovery Holidays. We understand that plans can change, and we strive to offer a fair and transparent refund policy.

1. Cancellation by You

If you need to cancel your booking, the following refund tiers apply based on the date we receive your written cancellation notice:

  • More than 30 days before departure: Full refund of deposit (minus a $50 administrative fee).
  • 15-30 days before departure: 50% refund of the total booking cost.
  • Less than 15 days before departure: No refund.

2. Cancellation by Us

In the unlikely event that we must cancel your tour (e.g., due to insufficient group size or force majeure), you will receive a 100% refund of all payments made to us. We will process this refund within 14 days of cancellation.

3. Unused Services

No refunds will be given for any unused portion of the tour (e.g., missed meals, sightseeing stops, or early departure) once the tour has commenced, regardless of the reason.

4. Refund Process

Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment. Please allow 5-10 business days for the funds to appear in your account, depending on your bank or credit card provider.
